The Town of Midland is seeking to retain a firm that has the capacity and experience to provide peer review services for comprehensive Land Use Compatibility Studies and other specialized individual studies pertaining to assessing and mitigating the impact of noise, dust and vibration. The purpose of the peer review studies is to confirm, at minimum, that any applicable provincial policies (e.g. Provincial Planning Statement, 2024) have been satisfied and whether appropriate guidelines (e.g. D Series Guideline) have been followed. Of particular interest to the Town is the bidder’s experience working and capacity to review noise studies or models as well as proposing and evaluating noise mitigation measures from a static industrial source in compliance with the Province’s D-6 guidelines. |
