The Town is calling for the complete Bid submissions from qualified Contractors to supply and deliver Colborne Street Trunk Main Decommissioning as detailed herein. A general description of the works is as follows:

• 500 m of sanitary trunk main abandonment by grout injection, complete with monitoring of grout injection within adjacent buildings.

• Abandonment of 3 sanitary maintenance holes as well as sealing and re-benching of 4 sanitary maintenance holes.

• Pre- and post-construction house inspection reports for each residential dwelling along with vibration monitoring during construction. 

• Installation of new sanitary services for residential dwellings complete with reconfiguration of interior plumbing layout as required to facilitate connection between existing plumbing stack and new sanitary service.

• Modifications to building foundations and footings as required to install the new sanitary service connection.

• Removal and restoration of interior finishes including but not limited to concrete slab, flooring, and walls as required to complete the work. Temporary relocation and reinstatement of furniture, laundry appliances, sinks, and other items as required.

• Removal and restoration of exterior surface features such as asphalt, concrete, landscaping, and other ground cover.
